Amanda Wallace is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. She was raised in Florida and earned her Doctor of Medicine at Florida State University. Dr. Wallace completed an internship in General Surgery at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, then went on to complete residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Colorado. As a resident Dr. Wallace was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) which recognizes residents who are exemplars of compassionate patient care and who serve as role models, mentors and leaders in medicine. GHHS members are nominated by other physicians as the doctors they would choose to take care of their own families. Dr. Wallace worked as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Colorado, providing anesthesia and teaching residents, prior to deciding that her true passion lay in treating chronic pain. She completed a Pain Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado while continuing to serve as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology. Dr. Wallace continues to teach medical students as an Assistant Clinical Professor for the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Wallace enjoys providing compassionate and individualized care to patients suffering from chronic pain. She employs a multimodal care plan emphasizing patient education so patients feel well-informed and empowered to take back control of their pain.
Outside of work Dr. Wallace enjoys cycling, trail running, stand up paddle boarding, and spending time with her family.
