Colorado Stem Cell Therapy
Regenerative Medicine Treatments
Colorado Clinic offers multiple regenerative medicine stem cell treatments.
These treatments are provided as an outpatient by a double board certified
doctor. Each treatment maintains minimal risk, with the possibility of
repairing and healing of injured tendons, ligaments, cartilage, and muscle.
We have kept up with the latest in stem cell research so that we can offer
our patients proven, evidence-based procedures that can provide them with
the pain relief they’ve been looking for.
Stem Cell Therapy Vs Conventional Treatments
We offer more than 50 pain management therapies and treatments at our clinics
throughout the state, and they provide excellent pain relief. However,
most pain management treatments are designed to help relieve pain rather
than heal the actual root cause of the problem. This is because that,
for many years, medical professionals believed there was no way to actually
heal damaged tissues and nerves. That all changed with advancement in
stem cell research.
Stem cells are “blank” cells that do have not yet developed
any functionality. These cells take on the properties of the cells around
them, meaning that if we cultivate them to perform the function formerly
performed by damaged cells in an injured area, they can help the body
heal and recover in ways that were never before possible. Instead of the
pain relief offered by many pain management treatments, stem cell therapy
offers an actual chance of recovery. Many patients who undergo stem cell
therapy are able to regain 100% of their functionality.
Overview of Stem Cell Therapies
At Colorado Clinic, we offer many different forms of stem cell therapy:
Amniotic Stem Cell Injections – Amniotic fluid is rich with stem cells. Stem cells from this fluid
are collected during a caesarean birth. In the past, this fluid was discarded
as waste material, but now many medical facilities are preserving the
fluid so that stem cells can be collected for therapy. Amniotic stem cells
can help tissues regenerate and recover from inflammation. They can even
be used to help stimulate cartilage growth. It is often used to treat
conditions such as tendonitis and arthritis.
Bone Marrow Stem Cell Injections – Your own bone marrow is a valuable source of stem cells. This is
an outpatient procedure where the stem cells are extracted from your bone
marrow and relocated to a damaged area of the body in need of new, healthy
cells. This treatment is often used to treat degenerative conditions,
including disc disease, ligament injuries, and joint arthritis. This treatment
can even help patients avoid or delay a total joint replacement surgery.
Platelet-Rich (PRP) Therapy – Platelets in the blood is another area reach with regenerative
stem cells. In order to obtain these, we draw 30 to 60ccs of blood and
strain out the necessary platelets so that we can inject them into the
area that needs repairing. The surge of platelet-rich blood in a damaged
area allows it to recover much faster than it would naturally. This form
of regenerative therapy is often used in soft tissues areas such as the
shoulders, elbows, and other joints.
