Dr. Howard was born in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Syracuse University for
his undergraduate before attending Rutgers Medical School. He completed
his residency at University of Chicago in Anesthesiology. His passion
for helping those challenged by chronic pain began during his residency.
Dr. Howard personally experienced the effects that injury and chronic pain
can have on family dynamics and overall quality of life. Pain relief is
only the first step toward rehabilitation, functionality and reducing
the possibility of future injury. He believes the introduction of this
philosophy early in the treatment process establishes a sense of control
which has frequently been lost in these patients.
